Ovarian cancer is when abnormal cells in the ovaries begin to multiply to form a tumor. If left untreated, the tumor can spread to other parts of the body. Ovarian cancer is responsible for the death of more than half the women who are affected. Ovarian cancer does not have any prominent symptoms, hence, it is even more important to be aware of the subtle signs, so that it can be treated soon.
